Stokesdale Lodge No. 428

Stokesdale Lodge No. 428 will welcome the District Deputy Grand Master and District Deputy Grand Lecturer of the 23rd Masonic District at our next stated meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 7:30 PM. Both Hugh McLaurin, DDGM and Tom Dolinger, DDGL will address the lodge on behalf of the Grand Master and the Grand Lodge.

Dinner will be served at 6:15 PM. Please mark your calendars and be sure not to miss this meeting.

Stokesdale Lodge No. 428 will confer the Fellow Craft’s Degree for one candidate on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:30 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:15 PM in the dining room. All Fellow Crafts and Master Masons are welcome.

Stokesdale Lodge No. 428 will celebrate 120 years of Masonry in Northwest Guilford County on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 6:00 PM. Join us as we celebrate our 120th anniversary and as we recognize and honor the widows of our departed Brethren. We will serve a spaghetti dinner which will include salad, soft drinks and dessert.

A very special entertainment program will be provided after dinner by Brother Mike Daniels of Bush Hill Lodge No. 732 in Archdale. This event is open to all Masons and their families. Please join us for dinner and a wonderful night of fellowship and entertainment.

Due to repairs to the kitchen ventilation system at the Greensboro Masonic Temple, the Greensboro York Rite Country Ham Supper has been rescheduled. The dinner will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 4:30 to 7:00 PM at the Greensboro Masonic Temple.

The menu will consist of center-cut country ham, eggs, hand-made biscuits, grits, baked apples and coffee or tea. Take out orders will be available at the door. Tickets are $7.00 per person and are available from any York Rite Mason. Proceeds will benefit the York Rite Masonic charities.

This dinner is open to the public.
