The problem to be solved is, not what form of government is perfect, but which of the forms is least imperfect.
Stokesdale Lodge No. 428 is selling custom brick pavers for our front sidewalk renovation project. The pavers are available at the cost of $50.00 per brick, and you may include up to 3 lines of text with up to 18 characters per line. Sales of the pavers are limited to Masons and Eastern Star members, and proceeds will benefit the North Carolina Masonic charities.

Stokesdale Lodge No. 428 will confer the Master Mason’s Degree for one candidate at the next stated meeting on March 17, 2009 at 7:30 PM. Dinner will be served prior to the meeting at 6:15 with a cost of $5.00. Dinner will consist of Corn Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes and Onions, and Cornbread. All visiting Master Masons are welcome, and we hope you will join us for a fine evening of fellowship.
Thomas Parker has accepted a job in Raleigh and has relocated. We wish him well in his career and hope that he can find his way to our lodge for a future meeting.
The Spring School of Instruction will be held on Wednesday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 29 from 7:30 to 10:00 PM at the Greensboro Masonic Temple. The work that that the lodge will be required to present will be identified in correspondence from the Grand Lodge prior to the school.
Numa F. Reid 344 in High Point will be hosting the district meeting of the Grand Master March 4, 2009 at 7:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:15 for $7.00. The menu will consist of grilled BBQ chicken, baked beans, slaw, apple sauce and cake. It is requested that you notify 344 if you plan to eat so that proper accomodations can be made.
